Will the wedding videographer be distracting?

Derek always remains discreet and unobtrusive. Photographers enjoy working with Derek for this very reason.  This allows the day to flow smoothly, giving you time to enjoy your day.

What equipment do you use?

The very latest Fuji 4K Broadcast-quality camera, audio and editing equipment is used.  All weddings are shot in full High Definition. I film using 2-3 video cameras and have 5 audio recorders to ensure the very best quality wedding film.

Will spot lights be used?

Never.  I never use lights that could be distracting for the couple or the guests.  

Do you carry back-up equipment?

Yes, back-up equipment is carried at all times.  I always carry at least two of everything: cameras, batteries, tripods, etc.  

Where are you based?

I am based in Blessington, Co. Wicklow.  If possible, I will travel throughout Ireland.  A small travel charge may apply. 

Can we choose our own music?

Yes.  I can supply you with a 5 page list of music, just to give you inspiration.  I ask for 6 songs for inclusion in you wedding video. 

How long will it take to complete the wedding video?

Generally, I will have your wedding video fully edited and delivered to you within 10-12 weeks after your wedding date.
